BLURRYFACE INTERACTIVE ALBUM

Capturing the feel of an album through an interactive experience

In the album Blurryface by Twenty One Pilots, the singer describes his battle with “Blurryface”, a fictional character who represents his insecurities. I wanted to convey this conflict while also staying true to the band's visual style, which is dark but playful, and uses elements like bright red, blue, and thin white lines and graphics. As the listener hovers over the line, the dots shift and change color, visually expressing the song's role in the singer's journey.

Ideation

I began with sketching possible layouts and flows, and followed up with rough digital sketches and style explorations. Once the final concept was chosen, I developed and coded the prototype in Framer.
